Mauro Lo Conte



Mauro Lo Conte was born in 1984 and is a Swiss and Italian citizen. He received his musical training with Christian Favre of the Conservatoire de Lausanne and on the College for Music in Lausanne / Switzerland. He completed his degree with a diploma for solo performance. He then continued his studies with Evgeni Koroliov at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg.

During his studies he attended Masterclasses with Pascal Devoyon, Jean-Philippe Collard, Dominique Merlet, Valentin Georghiu, Paul Badura-Skoda, Alexei Lubimov und Philipp Cassard who all influenced him in many ways.

Mauro lo Conte is regularly invited to festivals in Switzerland and performs in many countries in Europe and Asia. He has won international and national competitions and has done recordings with Radio Suisse-Romande, Television Suisse-Romande, France Musique, NDR and Hamburg1.

Mauro lo Conte has released CDs with music from Gershwin, Ginastera, Bach, Debussy und Chopin.

Mauro lo Conte teaches at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg since 2010 and at International College of Music Hamburg since 2015.
