Phonetics for Vocalists


Franciska Eisenschmidt is teacher for speech and phonetics on the Hochschule für Musik und Medien Hannover, in the vocal and drama department. She did her degree in Sprechwissenschaft und Phonetik at the Martin-Luther-Universität in Halle-Wittenberg and did a degree in acting at the Anton-Bruckner-Privatuniversität in Linz, Austria. She gained experience as a trainee, keynote speaker and teacher at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Graz, in Linz and at the Fachakademie für Theater und Film in Burghausen.


She teaches since 2016 at International College of Music Hamburg. Since 2022 she is also a Kalaidos accredited teacher at ICoM.
